Jupiter in Cancer

Why Is Jupiter Exalted in Cancer?
In Vedic astrology, exaltation describes a zodiac sign where a planet is traditionally considered especially strong. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, with its deepest exaltation at 5° Cancer.
Jupiter represents wisdom, guidance and growth, while Cancer is associated with care, protection and emotional understanding. This combination is traditionally viewed as supportive of Jupiter’s qualities.
However, exaltation does not guarantee favorable results for everyone. Jupiter’s house placement, rulership, aspects and planetary periods influence how the transit is interpreted in an individual chart.
