Rock Rose ( Helianthemum Mummularium ) is a plant with golden yellow flowers. In ancient times its name was Hellos Anthemos, in ancient Greek “sun and flower”, it belongs to the Cystaceae family , common in Europe, except in Norway and Iceland. The Eliantemo generally grows on dry, calcareous meadows and in the woods, it is a climber and always looks for the sun; it blooms between spring and summer.

Rock Rose is the twelfth plant discovered by Dr. Edward Bach which he defines as a: “… emergency remedy. It is the remedy for cases where there seems to be no hope at all. In case of accidents, sudden illnesses, when the patient is terrified or if his condition is so serious as to cause great fear in those close to him. If the subject is unconscious, the lips can be moistened with the remedy. It may be necessary to add to this other remedies such as, for example, Clematis; or, if the person is very tormented, Agrimony, and so on… ”.
