Agrimony in Bach flower therapy

properties, benefits, uses

Agrimony ( Agrimonia eupatoria ),  belongs to the family Rosaceae, and is a perennial herbaceous plant, with flowers small and yellow along the conical ears terminals, stem cylindrical (70 cm), leaves green serrated and greyish.

The plant, typical of the temperate climate regions of northern and central Europe, is found along the roads, in the escarpments and in the countryside. Indicated for anxiety and depression, it is useful for self-acceptance.

Agrimony : properties and benefits

It is the fourth medicinal plant that Edward Bach discovered in 1930. Starting from the keyword “mask”, an expression of the unwelcome pain or discomfort that can spread to the body through psycho-physical disorders such as chronic headache (in people who mask for modesty suffering or after abusing food or alcoholic beverages) nervous tics, states of anguish, linked to anxiety , up to in some cases the closure in solitude with depression , asthma , anorexia and bulimia; the Agrimony type plays on minimizing life, not really expressing their fears.

Here, instead, one has the possibility to bring down the “mask” and to become joyful and sociable, to be able to openly communicate one’s feelings and accept life as it flows, also composed of less pleasant sides.

Therefore, the benefit that arises is a full and sincere feeling of acceptance of oneself , of harmony, authenticity and consequently of inner calm. Transformed disturbances are seen with new opportunities, with a bright vision, uncovering unexpected diplomatic skills.

• Initial emotions (before taking the flower):

“Look, I smile, I’m happy!”.

• Evolutionary emotions (after taking the flower):

“Inside me is true joy, peace and calm. I know and manifest my feelings with joy and security ”.

Dr. Edward Bach reminds us that: “all true knowledge comes only from within ourselves, in silent communication with our soul…”.

Agrimony : uses

Agrimony is very useful to people who, behind a cheerful and witty attitude, often hide fears , worries, sometimes real deep sufferings, which they hide both from themselves and from others.

The person avoids loneliness and covers it with a socially rich life in order to be distracted in the company of others. In this state of mind the shadow is not integrated, we refuse to see the evidence, the negative aspects of life, we do not seek a confrontation with the outside; in fact, restless nocturnal sleep can occur up to insomnia disorders .

Agrimony personalities may have a tendency to suppress their discomfort and worries through heavy use of alcohol, pills and an unbalanced diet .

Agrimony is a precious remedy for those who are hypersensitive to influences and ideas , souls who do not know rest, tormented by anxieties , those who want and feel to free their image, no longer reluctant, finally ready to express their true feelings and bring serenity back inside.
