Willow ( Salix Vitellino )  is part of the Salicaceae family. The yellow willow is so called because in winter its branches are colored with a bright golden yellow that cheers up the whole countryside when the trees lose their leaves. It is found throughout the national territory and its height varies, due to the frequent cuts, dictated by the long branches. It is a plant that grows along waterways and in humid places. The tree has both yellow flowers that are male and green flowers that are female, which blend into the branches.
